Requests for Accommodations by Persons with Disabilities
The Second District Court of Appeal is committed to full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Qualified individuals with a disability will be provided, at the court's expense, with accommodations, reasonable modifications to rules, policies, or practices, or the provision of auxiliary aids and services, in order to participate in programs or activities provided by the courts of this state. The determination of whether an individual has a disability and the accommodation appropriate to a particular situation is an individualized inquiry and each decision is therefore made on a case-by-case basis.
