Jacinda (Jo) Haynes

The marshal of the court is Jacinda (Jo) Haynes. Marshal Haynes received a B.A. degree, cum laude, in international affairs in 1987, and a M.S. degree in political science in 1991 from Florida State University. She was employed by the Office of the State Courts Administrator in Tallahassee from 1988 to June 2007, where she held a variety of positions related to: budget; court education; court policy and operations research and analysis; unified family courts; strategic planning; and performance and accountability. She served as staff to numerous Florida Supreme Court commissions and committees, including the Judicial Management Council, the Trial Court Budget Commission, the Commission on District Court of Appeal Performance and Accountability, the Commission on Trial Court Performance and Accountability, and the Family Court Steering Committee. 
She is a 2009 graduate of the Institute for Court Management's (ICM) Court Executive Development Program and has been designated an ICM Fellow and a Certified Court Executive by the National Center for State Courts. The judges of the Second District Court of Appeal appointed her as the marshal in June 2007.
Marshal Haynes was born in Joliet, Illinois, in 1965; she has been a resident of Florida since 1969.
